With the support of donors since 2007, Autism Partnership Foundation has been fulfilling a mission of supporting individuals with autism and helping them in achieving the greatest degree of independence and highest quality of life possible.

2019-08-02 1 Month Intensive Treatment Beneficiaries

5 boys have completed one-month training. Their emotional control and ability to express have improved significantly!
2019-07-11 Learning Buddies programme stories

After a year of training, the buddies from AM group of “Learning Buddies” finally graduated! And 3 buddies from the second intake of “Learning Buddies” also completed 6-month training. All of them improved significantly in different areas. Let us take a look at their training stories.

2019-07-02 Autism not diagnosed after the first assessment, until one year later

Many parents revealed that the waiting time for children to receive assessments provided by Child Assessment Centres (CACs) is quite long. In order to allow children to receive early treatment, some parents would look for the services from private institutions. Fung’s mother suspected that Fung had autism, so she brought him to a private institution to have an assessment, but he was undiagnosed.

Taking care of a child with autism requires a lot of patience and understanding. Chun’s mother revealed that she did not know how to help Chun deal with his emotions. She would get angry easily when Chun lost his temper. She is now working hard at controlling her emotions, but she still worries a lot about Chun’s emotions and his social development.
