A celebration party is supposed to be full of joy. However, Fung caused his mother to feel heartbroken at the party. Fung hid in a corner to clean up while all the other children were having fun aside. “It hurt me. He was not good at joining others and what he did was meaningless. But we were fortunate to join the “Learning Buddies” service programme, which has helped Fung not to isolate himself from people any longer,” said Fung’s mother.

As schools start soon, most parents are excited for their children to prepare for the new school year, whereas Chung’s mother only felt tension and anxiety a year ago.
