
Autism Partnership Foundation (APF) holds various activities during the annual “Autism Awareness Actions” in April in response to the “World Autism Awareness Day” on April 2 each year.
This year, the cartoonist “Maggiemarket” supported the APF’s first charity virtual run with her family, enabling people from all around to actively support individuals with autism and create a brighter future for them.
All proceeds after deducting costs will be used to support our Therapy & Support Center in providing free professional treatment to children with autism from underprivileged families.

Participants can complete the required running distances at any time and place during the event, either all at once or in multiple sessions. Participants must screenshot and upload their running record(s)* to the designated webpage or App.
Upon registration, participants will become fundraisers automatically with a unique fundraising link, for sharing with family and friends to support Autism Awareness Actions together.
All categories (Individual Group / Family Group / Corporate Group / Team Group) will award 3 “Active Participation Awards”. Any team that becomes one of the top three in fundraising amounts within their category will receive a trophy.

Delivery for corporate and group categories is only arranged to one location.
Autism Awareness Actions 2025 Charity Virtual Run is organised by Autism Partnership Foundation Limited (APF). By completing the registration process, participants agree to abide by and accept all terms and conditions.
- Participants must use the Apps designated by Run2gather to record the running record and Upload the record or screen capture to Run2gather’s website; R2 will disqualify for who failed to upload within the mandated period or the uploaded distance is insufficient. Participants must use the Apps designated by Run2gather to record the running record. (Press here for designated or approved Apps)
- Participants could complete the target distance through one or multiple runs. [Before 30-4-2025 | 11:59pm (GMT+08)]
- The name on the medal and finisher certificate cannot be changed once confirmed.
- An online run is a self-discipline game, Run2gather will check the uploaded running record regularly. R2 will exercise its discretion to disqualify the participant and/ or suspend the User account if an ingenuine record is identified.
- Participants should prioritize safety. APF and Run2gather are not liable for any injuries and/or losses caused during the event.
- If participants fail to collect the souvenirs within a specific time frame or cannot be contacted will be deemed as giving up the souvenirs.
- Race journeys cannot be altered, refunded, or transferred after successful payment.
- In case of any disputes, APF reserves the right to make the final decision.

Is the virtual run required to be done at a specific location and time?
Participants can arrange their run location and time from 31st March to 30th April 2025 at once or in multiple sessions. After finishing, participants must take a screenshot and upload their running record(s) to the designated webpage or App.
Is there a maximum number of participants per team for the Family, Corporate and Group categories?
Yes, there are maximum participants limits for the following 2 categories:
- Family Team: 2 – 4 people / team
- Corporate and Group: 2 – 10 people / team
Do all categories need to complete the same running distance?
No, each category has a different running distance requirement:
- Individual: 5km
- Family: Accumulate 4km
- Corporate & Group: Accumulate 10km
Do each team members need to finish 4km or 10km individually if they joined family team or corporate and group?
Each team must accumulate the required running distances.
How to add members to Family category during registration?
When adding the third to fourth members, please select the number of extra member(s) you would like to add at “other member”.
Are there age restrictions for participating in this virtual run?
This virtual run welcomes participants of all ages. Participants under 18 years of age must obtain parental or guardian consent.
Can the leader add all team members during the Corporate & Group registration?
No, the leader must send an invitation to each team member via a unique link or email for registration and to join the team.
Can I pay the entire team entry fee and minimum fundraising fee during the Corporate & Group registration?
If you would like to make a single payment for the team, please email event@apf.org.hk.
How can I confirm that my registration was successful?
You will receive a confirmation email after your registration is successful. Additionally, you can log in to the designated website or app to check via “My Event”.
Can I transfer to a different category after I have confirmed my registration?
Transfers to different categories are not permitted. However, you are welcome to register for additional categories simultaneously.
Can I withdraw my registration and request a refund if I cannot participate?
Once your registration is confirmed, withdrawals and refund requests are not permitted.
Will the registration fee be included in the donation receipt?
No, the registration fee is not considered a donation and will not be included in the donation receipt.
When will I receive the donation receipt after submitting the minimum donation amount during registration?
The donation receipt for the minimum donation amount will be sent to participants via event@apf.org.hk within 14 working days after registration.
Paying the minimum donation amount during the registration, can I request more than one donation receipt?
Yes, but each donation receipt must be for an amount of HKD$100 or more.
If more than one donation receipt is required, please send the following information to event@apf.org.hk.
- Donor’s name
- Donation amount
- Participant’s phone number
- Participant’s email address

Are there any minimum requirements for uploading the running record each time?
Yes, the minimum requirement for uploading the running record is at least 1km each time.
Are there any points to note when uploading the running record?
Yes, the screenshot must contain the following information:
- Date
- Distance
- Finishing time
- Route
How can my friends and relatives support my participation in the APF virtual run?
You can share your unique fundraising link with them to encourage donations in supporting your participation.
Can my friends and relatives receive a donation receipt after supporting me with their donation?
Yes, if they donate HKD$100 or more, the system will automatically send a donation receipt to the donor’s email if they select “E-receipt is required” during the donation process.
Is there a minimum donation amount for each contribution?
Yes, the minimum donation amount is HKD$20.
*The donation amount must be HKD$100 or above to receive a donation receipt.
Can I receive a personalized medal and finisher e-certificate if I don't complete the required running distance?
Unfortunately, participants must complete the required running distance to qualify for the personalized medal and finisher e-certificate.
When will the finisher E-certificate be issued?
The finisher E-certificate will be issued approximately 1 week after the virtual run ends.
Participants can download the E-certificate from “My Event” on the designated website or app after logging in.
When can I redeem the souvenirs?
Souvenirs can be redeemed at the end of May or in June, participants will be notified via email at that time.
Is the souvenir delivery arrangement only applicable locally?
No, souvenirs can be delivered outside Hong Kong, and the delivery cost will be charged by participants.
Can I authorize others to collect the souvenirs on my behalf?
Yes, you can authorize others to collect the souvenirs at the designated point. The representative mush bring an authorization letter, which should include the following information:
- Participant’s name
- Email address
- Phone number
If you are unable to arrange for someone else to collect the souvenirs, please contact Run2Gather via WhatsApp at 9015 2140 for delivery arrangements. (The delivery fee will be paid by the receiver)
Can a replacement be arranged if a souvenir is lost or damaged?
If a souvenir is lost or damaged, please contact Run2Gather via WhatsApp at 9015 2140, and we will handle it according to the situation.

The team leader needs to complete the registration first, and send the unique invitation link for team members to register and join the team. For more details, please click here.
Upon completion of the race, the participating team will receive 1 physical certificate of appreciation.
For total fundraising amount over HKD$5,000:
- Acknowledgment will be arranged in the APF annual report
- Listing as one of the participating corporates/groups on the APF website
The top 3 fundraising teams from the corporate and group categories respectively, with the highest amount raised in HKD, will be awarded “Active Participation Award” trophy.
