Gala dinner raises $700,000 for charity 2016-06-09

It was all about dazzling blue dresses and bow ties at the APF Shinning Blue charity gala dinner this year.

Guests at the glamorous Shinning Blue-themed event raised a dazzling HK$700,000 for the APF, which helps in establishing a parent resources center with treatment settings for children with autism from low-income families in Hong Kong.

Part of the funded donations will go towards establishing a secondary section of Aoi Pui school, the only school providing tailor-made syllabus for students with autism in Hong Kong.

Toby Mountjoy, Founder of Autism Partnership Foundation, says: “We want to say a massive thank you to all of our supporters, corporate sponsors and staff that helped make the night such a great success. Words cannot express how grateful we are for everyone’s generosity and backing.”
