APF's Pizza Making Party 2016-08-13

APF is committed to making a difference in the life of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We generate public awareness and knowledge about ASD through various activities, and we provide support and help for children with ASD and their families.

Sponsored by Brown-Forman Hong Kong Limited, 17 families were invited to participate in the “Pizza Making Party” on August 13, 2016. Through this family-activity, parents and kids have spent great time together and have strengthened their communication and social skills.

To add sparks to the day, we invited a clown as volunteer from Red Nose Production to give away colorful balloons to the kids. After that, kids and parents quickly put on their chef hats and aprons to have the pizza making party kickstarted!

The host provided step-by-step pizza making instructions to the kids, with the assistance of parents and volunteers, from putting on tomato sauce to selecting their own toppings. We hope all kids felt proud of themselves for making such unique pizza together with their families.

We had excited games and prizes while waiting the pizza to be baked. They all had great funs! With food and drinks, we wish every kid could bring this happiness home and enjoy their summer holiday.
